When we first met these two over coffee this spring, they were both in the midst of their final year of grad school AND wedding planning. With the help of their parents, Michelle and Rob planned a beautiful fall wedding, graduated and became gainfully employed, too! They met in high school and eventually both attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison for their undergrad degrees. Michelle and Rob were definitely excited to get married last weekend, evidenced by their beaming smiles throughout the day.

One of my favorite details of the day was her grandmother's navy blue ring, which tied in perfectly with the blue details that Michelle infused into the wedding. On a whim, as we left home the morning of the wedding, I wrapped up a delicate blue dish that my grandmother gave me, thinking maybe I could use it somewhere throughout the day. It turned out to be the perfect backdrop for Michelle's details.

Rob and Michelle are so easy-going and relaxed , along with being downright beautiful together. They did an awesome job of enjoying the day and not stressing about anything. We love when couples can just get lost in the day and the celebration, because in the end, details are just details. The most important part of a wedding is the memories you make with the people who love and support you, and I think that's exactly what Rob and Michelle did on Saturday.

Michelle and Rob - Tom and I had the best time with you two! Thank you for letting us document the start of this new chapter in your lives. We hope you're enjoying the warm, sandy beaches of Jamaica this week!
