Melissa + Peter | Summit Manor Wedding
This is the story of two people who met at work, became carpool buddies and are now husband and wife. Melissa and Peter's wedding day was full of meaning. They didn't do any part of their day out of obligation or tradition, rather because it was meaningful and represented their relationship. Family played a large part of their celebration, with one of Peter's brothers and Melissa's brother as officiants of their ceremony. Both of their mothers also did readings during the ceremony, for Melissa, a sweet poem, and Peter's choice, the lyrics to "The Power of Love" by Huey Lewis and the News.
Melissa knew she wanted flowers that were full of color, so Martha's Gardens was enlisted to create the colorful palette of orange, green and pink arrangements. While rain threatened to relocate their outdoor ceremony, it stayed away long enough for their ceremony to take place under a giant oak tree at Summit Manor. No raindrops fell until well into their reception, as guests enjoyed dinner and dancing with the happy couple.
Thank you to the rest of the creative team who made Melissa and Peter's day so beautiful:
