She was positively glowing as she talked about how they had met and were getting to know each other. It's the same look we saw last weekend when they chose to see each other in a "first look" before their ceremony and the same look as the doors opened in the ceremony and Kari was walked down the aisle by her proud dad. A mutual friend of theirs had casually asked if they were interested in meeting each other, both said yes and hit the ground running as they got to know and love each other. Mike proposed at Forepaugh's in St. Paul and even stealthily recorded his proposal from behind a potted plant! I grew up with Kari as more of a sister than a friend, so it was especially a blessing to be part of her wedding day.

Kari and Mike are some of the most expressive people we know - not only in their faces, but also in their sincere appreciation for the friends and family that celebrated the start of their marriage with them. We are so thankful to call Kari and Mike friends! It was a blast for us to be part of their wedding day and celebrate alongside these beautiful people.
