Going North | Personal Work on Film
When I was young, I used to spend summers at the lake with my cousins and grandma, soaking in every ounce of sunshine. The lake is still (and always will be) my favorite place in the world to be on hot summer days. It's about disconnecting from email and social media, and re-connecting with people you don't see often enough. It's about laughing and relaxing more than usual, staying up late playing card games and eating way too many carbs.
We planned this weekend months in advance, making sure everyone could be there together for at least one weekend this summer. The time was such a fun blend of time with friends and family. We even squeezed in a quick photo session with my adorable niece and nephew before we jumped in the lake. Here's to making more summer memories in the next month and continuing the futile pursuit of tanning this Scandinavian pale skin!
