Tom and I were in downtown Grand Forks on an early fall morning to spend time with Emily and Evan for their engagement session. I've known Emily since junior high, when our families started attending the same church.  Evan and I played in the same youth orchestra in high school (I knew I recognized him, albeit without a tuba these days!).

Emily and Evan had their first date at Urban Stampede, so it was fitting to start their session in the very booth where they first spent time together. From there we explored the river and found the best wall of fiery red ivy that we've ever seen. Throughout our entire time together, I loved watching Emily and Evan interact with each other. They are so sweet and caring with each other!

Tom and I had so much fun spending the morning with Emily and Evan. We can't wait for their wedding next July!
