Annie & Anders are two Minnesotans who love winter. Along with their wedding this month, they also did winter engagement photos with us last winter! For their wedding day, they incorporated lots of elegant touches of greenery and birch. Annie & Anders are new college grads, so much of the planning was done while in the final stretch of undergrad at NDSU. They're also avid climbers, so they incorporated a knot-tying into their wedding ceremony as a nod to their shared hobby.
After their sweet first look, we trekked up a hill to the tall pine trees for some really romantic photos. I feel like these trees were meant for Annie & Anders since it really connected with the feel of their wedding day and their love of nature and adventure. After some photos inside so everyone could warm up, we headed to the ceremony location. They were married at the same church where Anders' grandfather was a pastor and where his parents were married 43 years ago. After the ceremony, we grabbed some sunset photos of the newlyweds before they joined their party at the Columbia Manor Reception space in Minneapolis. The entire day was so full of joy, and I think it's easy to see that in the photos. Wishing this sweet couple all kinds of congratulations!
